Ubiquiti USL-SIREN UniFi Protect SuperLink All-weather Siren, 110 dB alarm and emergency LED lighting (US Model)

The Ubiquiti UniFi Siren (USL-SIREN) is an indoor/outdoor wireless alarm siren designed for integration with UniFi Protect. It delivers a powerful 110dB audible alarm together with highly visible emergency LED lighting, helping alert occupants and draw attention to security events.

SuperLink wireless connectivity offers a range of up to 2km, while battery or wired DC power options provide installation flexibility for homes, offices, warehouses, retail stores and commercial premises.

Powerful 110dB UniFi Protect alarm siren

The USL-SIREN produces an alarm output of up to 110dB when measured at one metre. This high sound level makes it suitable for security alerts, emergency notifications and other events where an immediate, clearly audible warning is required.

Alarm operation is managed through UniFi Protect, enabling the siren to become part of a centrally managed UniFi physical-security system.

Emergency RGBW LED lighting

A built-in RGBW light ring provides a highly visible emergency indication alongside the audible siren. The combination of sound and coloured illumination helps attract attention in noisy environments or locations where an audible alarm alone may be less effective.

The unit also includes separate multicolour system and status LEDs for operational information.

Long-range UniFi SuperLink connectivity

The UniFi Siren uses Ubiquiti’s proprietary SuperLink wireless technology rather than Wi-Fi or Ethernet. SuperLink provides a maximum line-of-sight range of up to 2km, allowing the siren to communicate across large buildings, outdoor areas and distributed sites.

A compatible UniFi SuperLink Gateway is required and is sold separately. Actual wireless range will vary according to walls, building materials, interference and installation conditions.

Battery or wired DC power options

The USL-SIREN can operate using four CR123A batteries, making installation possible where network or power cabling is unavailable. Alternatively, it can be powered through a 12–24V DC input for fixed installations.

Power and signal input terminals provide additional flexibility when integrating the siren into a wired alarm or building-security installation. Maximum power consumption is 5W.

Tamper detection for security installations

An integrated tamper switch can detect unauthorised removal or interference with the unit. This provides an additional layer of protection when the siren is installed in accessible areas.

Weather-resistant indoor and outdoor design

The IP56-rated enclosure protects against dust and powerful water jets, allowing the USL-SIREN to be installed indoors or in suitable exposed outdoor locations. Its aluminium-alloy and polycarbonate construction provides a durable yet discreet design.

The siren can operate in temperatures from -30°C to 50°C, making it suitable for a wide range of New Zealand installation environments.

Flexible wall or ceiling mounting

A mounting plate is included for wall or ceiling installation. The compact, low-profile enclosure measures just 35mm deep, allowing it to blend neatly into residential and commercial environments.

Centralised management through UniFi Protect

The USL-SIREN is managed through UniFi Protect using the web interface or the UniFi Protect apps for iOS and Android. This allows administrators to configure and monitor the siren as part of a broader UniFi security deployment.

The siren requires both a compatible UniFi Protect host and a UniFi SuperLink Gateway.
