Ericsson Enterprise Wireless MA03-0920-C7B-GA R920 Rugged Mobile/IoT LTE WiFi Router, with 3yr NetCloud Mobile Essentials
Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions MA03-0920-C7B-GA R920 LTE WiFi Router with 3-Year NetCloud Mobile Essentials
The Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions MA03-0920-C7B-GA provides the rugged R920 LTE WiFi router with a three-year NetCloud Mobile Essentials Plan. Built for connected vehicles, mobile personnel and challenging IoT environments, the R920 combines Cat 7 LTE, WiFi 6, GNSS/GPS and dual Gigabit Ethernet with centralised cloud management. Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions was formerly known as Cradlepoint.
Reliable Cat 7 LTE Connectivity for Connected Vehicles
An embedded global Cat 7 LTE modem delivers theoretical download speeds of up to 300Mbps and upload speeds of up to 150Mbps. The modem supports 2x2 cellular MIMO and provides two nano-SIM slots for flexible deployment across supported mobile networks.
The IP64-rated metal enclosure, wide operating-temperature range and vehicle-focused power features make the R920 suitable for transportation, emergency services, utilities, construction, field service, mobile surveillance and other operationally demanding installations.
Concurrent WiFi 6 and Dual Gigabit LAN/WAN Ports
The R920 delivers simultaneous 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi 6 using dual radios and 2x2 MU-MIMO. It can provide wireless access for passengers, personnel and operational equipment or connect to an existing wireless network using wireless-client or WiFi-as-WAN modes.
Two Gigabit Ethernet interfaces can each be configured for LAN or WAN operation. This supports wired endpoints such as cameras, vehicle computers, telemetry equipment, payment terminals and IoT gateways while providing flexibility for Ethernet WAN connections.
Three-Year NetCloud Mobile Essentials Plan
The included three-year NetCloud Mobile Essentials Plan provides access to NetCloud Manager and the R920’s applicable router software capabilities for the full subscription term.
Administrators can centrally deploy, configure and monitor R920 routers across an entire fleet or distributed estate. Group-based policies help maintain consistent configurations, while remote diagnostics and troubleshooting reduce the need for vehicle visits.
NetCloud Mobile Essentials provides:
- Three years of NetCloud Manager access
- Zero-touch router deployment
- Centralised configuration and policy control
- Device groups and configuration templates
- Remote monitoring and troubleshooting
- Router and modem software updates
- Stateful zone-based firewall functionality
- VPN configuration and management
- Visibility into router, WAN and client health
- Support throughout the three-year subscription term
NetCloud Mobile Advanced can be added separately for organisations requiring enhanced threat protection, web filtering, application-level visibility, additional analytics or advanced GNSS/GPS capabilities.
External Cellular, WiFi and GNSS Antenna Connections
The R920 provides:
- 2 x SMA female cellular connectors for 2x2 MIMO LTE
- 2 x RP-SMA connectors for dual-band WiFi
- 1 x SMA connector for an active GNSS/GPS antenna
- 1 x RP-SMA connector for Bluetooth Low Energy
Compatible direct-attach paddle antennas can be used with the R920. For mobile and in-vehicle installations, however, Ericsson recommends remote or cabled multi-element antennas for optimum performance.
A roof-mounted combination antenna can position the cellular, WiFi and GNSS elements outside the vehicle body, reducing signal obstruction and simplifying antenna installation.
Antennas are not included with the MA03-0920-C7B-GA NetCloud Mobile package and must be ordered separately.
Upgradeable Multi-Modem Connectivity
The optional RX20-MC Managed Accessory enables a compatible second LTE or 5G modem to be added to the R920. This can provide an additional carrier connection, dual-modem resilience or higher-performance 5G connectivity while retaining the existing router.
USB, GPIO, Bluetooth Low Energy and edge-computing capabilities further extend the R920 for specialised mobile and IoT applications.
