Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual with a proven track record in the IT industry to join our team in the hybrid role of Account Manager & Business Development Manager. This unique role combines the responsibilities of managing and nurturing existing client relationships with the proactive drive to identify and secure new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a passion for technology and a demonstrable track record in IT sales and account management.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management:

  • Maintain and grow relationships with our existing reseller partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Understand clients' business needs and objectives, providing tailored solutions and support.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Conduct regular account reviews, providing insights and recommendations to optimise technology investments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Business Development:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the MSP, Systems Integrator and IT reseller market.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Present and demonstrate the value of partnering with our company.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

The right person will have:

  • Experience in account management and/or business development, preferably in the IT sector.
  • Strong understanding of IT products and market trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivation, with a results-driven approach and a proactive attitude.
