An 8,000-entry MAC address table and 512.5KB packet buffer provide capacity for busy small-business networks with numerous connected devices.

Energy-Efficient and Silent Operation

IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet reduces power consumption during periods of low network activity. The switch can also detect inactive ports and Ethernet cable length, automatically adjusting power usage where possible.

Its fanless cooling design provides completely silent operation, making the GS524v3 suitable for offices, meeting rooms, classrooms and other noise-sensitive areas. Maximum power consumption is just 12 watts.
