Yeastar PAEPSEPCE-RECEPTIONIST-1000 AI Receptionist for P-Series PBX (Software and Cloud Editions), 500 minutes
Yeastar’s AI Receptionist is an intelligent virtual receptionist for Yeastar P-Series PBX (Software and Cloud editions) that automatically answers incoming calls and speaks naturally with callers. It can greet callers, answer questions using your company information and knowledge base, collect caller details, and transfer calls to the correct person or department based on what the caller needs. This provides a professional call-answering service during busy periods, after hours, or whenever staff are unavailable.
Licensed per 1,000 minutes. This is an on-demand minute pack with no monthly or yearly subscription required. Additional minute packs can be purchased as required. Yeastar also includes 60 one-time AI Receptionist minutes with an eligible P-Series plan.
How it works
- Natural call answering: The AI Receptionist answers incoming calls with a configurable greeting and allows callers to explain what they need using normal conversational language.
- Knowledge-based answers: Company information, FAQs, documents and website content can be added to a knowledge base, allowing the receptionist to answer common questions accurately.
- Intelligent call routing: The AI identifies the caller’s intent and transfers the call to an appropriate extension, ring group, queue, IVR, call flow or other configured destination.
- Dial by name: Callers can ask to speak with a specific person, and the receptionist can identify and transfer them to the corresponding extension.
- Information collection: The receptionist can collect details such as the caller’s name, contact information, enquiry type or other information required by the business.
- Multilingual support: Primary and additional languages can be configured, together with selectable voice profiles and speech speed.
- Failover destination: If the receptionist cannot answer a question or find a suitable transfer rule, the call can be passed to a predefined destination for further assistance.
- Call reporting: AI Receptionist activity can be reviewed through call reports and CDR records, helping administrators monitor call volumes, duration and handling performance.
Yeastar supports multiple AI receptionists on a PBX, with each receptionist able to handle up to 10 concurrent calls.
How to enable and configure
- For administrators: Log in to the PBX web portal and go to AI > AI Receptionist, then click Add.
- Personalise the receptionist: Assign a name and number, then select the preferred language, voice profile and speech speed.
- Add company information: Enter the company’s services, address, business hours and other information that callers may ask about.
- Configure the greeting: Create the welcome message that callers hear when the AI Receptionist answers.
- Add knowledge: Upload FAQs, documents or website content to help the receptionist answer business-related questions.
- Configure call handling: Enable dial by name, create intent-based transfer rules, select permitted destinations and set a failover destination.
- Test before deployment: Make test calls to check response accuracy, voice settings and call routing before directing live incoming calls to the receptionist.
The AI Receptionist can be assigned directly to a telephone number or used as a destination within an inbound route, IVR or Yeastar Call Flow.
