Ericsson Enterprise Wireless LS03-SW2400P-GP 24-port Managed PoE+ Switch, 24 x 1 GbE, 4 x SFP+, 802.3at PoE+ with a 370W PoE Budget, 3 Year Netcloud Essentials
Ericsson Ethernet switches and wireless access points extend the LAN capabilities of supported Ericsson routers by adding centrally managed Ethernet, PoE and Wi-Fi connectivity. Switch ports, VLANs, wireless networks and connected devices can be configured and monitored as part of a unified LAN solution through Ericsson NetCloud Manager.
The SW2400P is a cloud-managed Layer 2 PoE+ Ethernet switch designed to expand network capacity at small and medium-sized branch locations. The LS05-SW2400P-GP package combines 24 Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ ports, four high-speed 10GbE SFP+ uplinks, a substantial 370W PoE budget and a five-year NetCloud LAN Switch Essentials subscription. It provides centralised management alongside compatible Ericsson routers and access points, creating a unified branch networking solution for computers, VoIP phones, surveillance cameras, wireless access points and other Ethernet-connected equipment.
Cloud-managed 24-port PoE+ switch for branch networks
The SW2400P provides 24 x 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 ports for connecting wired devices throughout an office, retail site or distributed branch location. All 24 copper ports support IEEE 802.3at PoE+, allowing the switch to deliver network connectivity and electrical power through the same Ethernet cable.
Its 370W total PoE power budget supports multiple powered devices, while dynamic power allocation and LLDP-MED help distribute power efficiently. The switch can automatically prevent its available PoE budget from being exceeded, helping protect network stability when numerous powered devices are connected.
Four 10GbE SFP+ uplinks
Four SFP+ interfaces provide high-speed fibre or direct-attach uplinks to compatible routers, switches, servers and network infrastructure. These ports support compatible 1GbE SFP and 10GbE SFP+ transceivers, including:
- 1000BASE-SX and 1000BASE-LX
- 10GBASE-SR and 10GBASE-LR
- Compatible 10GbE RJ45 transceivers
- 10GbE direct-attach copper and active optical cables
The combination of 24 Gigabit access ports and four 10GbE uplinks helps reduce bottlenecks when aggregating traffic from bandwidth-intensive endpoints.
Three-year NetCloud LAN Switch Essentials plan
The included three-year NetCloud LAN Switch Essentials plan enables the SW2400P to operate as part of an Ericsson NetCloud-managed LAN solution. NetCloud Manager provides a central cloud-based interface for configuring and managing compatible Ericsson switches, access points and routers across one or multiple locations.
For the SW2400P, NetCloud Essentials supports capabilities such as:
- Centralised cloud management through Ericsson NetCloud Manager
- Remote switch and Ethernet-port configuration
- Group-based configuration for consistent multi-site deployments
- VLAN creation, tagging and network segmentation
- PoE configuration and monitoring
- Switch status, port statistics and connected-client visibility
- Centralised LAN OS firmware management
- Alerts and operational information for remote troubleshooting
- Integration with compatible Ericsson branch routers and AP2600 access points
- Zero-touch provisioning for supported LAN Solutions deployments
This package includes NetCloud LAN Switch Essentials for five years. An active subscription is required to use the SW2400P as part of the NetCloud-managed solution.
Unified Ericsson branch networking
The SW2400P is designed to be paired with a compatible Ericsson E-series branch router. Supported host routers include the Ericsson E300, E400 and E3000, with up to two SW2400P switches supported per router.
This architecture brings routing, switching and wireless access under one cloud management platform. Administrators can create LAN Solutions groups in NetCloud Manager, configure VLANs and switch ports before installation, and then deploy the equipment at the branch location with much of its configuration already prepared.
Activation and use of the SW2400P require a supported Ericsson router with an appropriate active NetCloud Service plan.
Layer 2 network management and security
The Ericsson SW2400P includes managed Layer 2 functionality for controlling traffic and segmenting the branch network. Up to 64 VLANs can be configured, helping separate corporate users, voice services, surveillance cameras, guest access and other device groups.
IEEE 802.1X authentication provides port-based network access control, requiring connected users or devices to authenticate before gaining network access. Spanning Tree support helps prevent network loops, while a 16,000-entry MAC address table and support for jumbo frames enable the switch to handle demanding business networks efficiently.
High-performance Ethernet switching
With 128Gbps switching capacity and a forwarding rate of up to 95 million packets per second, the SW2400P is designed to move traffic across its access and uplink ports without creating unnecessary network bottlenecks. Energy-Efficient Ethernet support can also reduce power consumption when connected ports are idle or carrying limited traffic.
Antenna and wireless connectivity information
The SW2400P is a wired Ethernet switch and does not contain cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or GPS radios. It therefore has no antenna connections and does not require external antennas. Wireless connectivity can be added to the wider solution using compatible Ericsson AP2600 Wi-Fi 6 access points, while cellular WAN connectivity is provided by the associated Ericsson branch router.
