The UACC-G4-INS-Cable-USB-4.5M is a 4.5-metre USB-C power cable designed to connect a UniFi G4 Instant or G6 Instant camera to Ubiquiti’s separate PoE-to-USB-C Adapter.

It allows the camera to be powered from a PoE switch or PoE injector when a nearby mains socket is unavailable:

PoE switch/injector → Ethernet cable → PoE-to-USB-C Adapter → 4.5 m USB-C cable → camera

Important points:

  • It carries power only; the camera still connects to the network over Wi-Fi.
  • The UACC-Adapter-PoE-USBC PoE-to-USB-C Adapter is required and sold separately.
  • It does not convert the G4 Instant into a wired Ethernet camera.
  • Its extra length is useful for wall or ceiling installations where the PoE adapter needs to be positioned farther away.
