Internal relay (AS400) communication card used in PowerShield UPS systems. 

Provides Volt-Free Contact (VFC) dry relays that change state based on UPS events, allowing the UPS to communicate directly with external systems like PLCs, BMS (Building Management Systems), and Access Control Panels.

  • Event Detection: Monitors and signals events such as Mains Failure & Restore, Battery Normal or Low, UPS Normal or Bypass, and UPS Summary Alarm.
  • Configurable Contacts: Features user-selectable Normally Open (default) or Normally Closed contacts, easily adjusted via jumpers.
  • Wide Compatibility: Fits the intelligent slots of various Powershield UPS models (like the Centurion Rackmount series).
  • Selectable Signal Status: Capable of active-close or active-open signaling depending on equipment requirements (e.g., IBM servers, industrial PLCs).
  • Compatibility: Plugs directly into the UPS's intelligent slot and is secured to the rear panel with a screwdriver.
