The lightweight QDA-UMP4A allows you to install an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD in a 2.5-inch U.2 (SFF-8639) PCIe NVMe SSD slot of a QNAP NAS. (M.2 SSD sold separately)

M.2 SSDs may overheat and suffer decreased performance during prolonged high-speed operations. The QDA-UMP4A includes a thermal pad and heatsink to ensure stable performance.

Note: A heatsink supports M.2 2280 and 2260 NVMe SSDs only.

Note:
The QDA-UMP4A is supported by the TS-h987XU, TS-h973AX, and TS-h2490FU NAS series.
PCIe 3.0 SSDs are also supported, and the speed will be based on Gen 3.
Some NAS models do not support hot swap. Always check the hardware spec and compatibility list before purchasing drives and accessories.
