Grandstream GS-POE30W-MG 2.5Gbps PoE+ Injector

The Grandstream GS-POE30W-MG is a 2.5Gbps multi-gigabit PoE+ injector designed to deliver network connectivity and up to 30.2W of power through a single Ethernet cable. Supporting both IEEE 802.3af PoE and IEEE 802.3at PoE+, it is ideal for powering compatible wireless access points, IP phones, cameras and other network devices without requiring a dedicated PoE switch.

30.2W PoE+ Power Output

With a maximum output of 30.2W, the GS-POE30W-MG provides more power than a standard PoE injector and is suitable for compatible devices requiring IEEE 802.3at PoE+.

It is also backward compatible with IEEE 802.3af powered devices, allowing it to support a wide range of standards-compliant PoE equipment. The connected device draws power according to its requirements, provided those requirements remain within the injector’s available output.

2.5Gbps Multi-Gigabit Ethernet Passthrough

The GS-POE30W-MG includes a 2.5Gbps RJ45 LAN input and a 2.5Gbps RJ45 LAN output with PoE. Its multi-gigabit capability makes it well suited to modern wireless access points and other network devices that can exceed the throughput available from a traditional Gigabit Ethernet connection.

The injector passes the network connection transparently between the switch and powered device. The actual connection speed is negotiated by those endpoints, enabling compatible 1Gbps and 2.5Gbps network operation.

Power and Data Through One Ethernet Cable

The GS-POE30W-MG combines electrical power and Ethernet data on the cable connected to the powered device. This simplifies installation and gives installers greater flexibility when positioning wireless access points, cameras and other equipment away from electrical outlets.

Only the Ethernet cable running from the injector’s PoE output carries power. The LAN input connects safely to a network switch, router or other Ethernet source.

Plug-and-Play PoE+ Deployment

No software, configuration or network management is required. Connect the LAN input to the network, connect the PoE output to the compatible powered device, and attach AC power.

Blue and purple LED indicators show power and PoE-load status, helping installers confirm that the injector is powered and supplying the connected device.
