High-Performance DrayOS 5 WiFi 6 Access Points for Enhanced Network Efficiency
The DrayTek VigorAP 905 is a high-performance, dual-band 802.11ax (WiFi 6) wireless access point, designed for high-density environments such as classrooms, conference halls, and other locations with many simultaneous users. It supports up to 256 concurrent clients, delivering fast and reliable connectivity even under heavy usage.

Equipped with 2×3 MU-MIMO and Beamforming technology, the VigorAP 905 offers excellent wireless performance, with a combined throughput of up to 3 Gbps (2400 Mbps on 5 GHz and 600 Mbps on 2.4 GHz).

The built-in Plug-and-Play Mesh technology allows up to eight access points to be wirelessly linked into a Mesh group, extending wireless coverage without complex configuration. Setup is quick and easy using the built-in Quick Start Wizard or the free DrayTek Wireless App.

The Wi-Fi Mesh system also enhances network reliability. Redundancy features ensure that if one AP’s uplink fails, traffic is automatically rerouted through another AP, maintaining continuous service.

The VigorAP 905 is built with a Virtual AP Controller, which intelligently detects whether each AP is connected via wired or wireless uplink and automatically chooses the optimal topology:

For smaller deployments (fewer than 8 APs), it enables Mesh mode with 1 root AP and up to 7 nodes.
For larger deployments (up to 20 APs including the root), it switches to AP Management mode, offering greater control, scalability, and centralized management.
