This new device has 16 hard drive bays, each capable of holding 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SSDs or HDDs. It is capable of managing up to 70 4K cameras, or 210 HD cameras or 140 2K cameras. You can of course have some of each, so that number will fluctuate, but the total number is impressive. If you need more, you could use Protect Vantage Point to merge a number of NVR devices together into the same interface.

What also makes it an enterprise device is the addition of hot swappable PSUs and multiple network interfaces. The ENVR has two swappable 550W PSUs, two 1/10G SFP+ interfaces and one 1/2.5/5/10 GbE RJ45 port.

There is an optional add-on bezel too (UACC-ENVR-Bezel - coming soon). 

It does have an integrated 4.7-inch touchscreen which can be used to playback footage and check storage arrays. It also lets you lock the front of the NVR with a door latch.
