The Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions TCA3-0920-C7B-GM combines the rugged R920 Cat 7 LTE WiFi router with three-year NetCloud Ruggedized IoT Essentials and Advanced Plans. Unlike the Mobile package variants, this IoT package also includes direct-attach cellular and WiFi antennas plus an international AC power supply, providing a more complete solution for kiosks, utilities, building automation, smart infrastructure and protected industrial installations. Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions was formerly known as Cradlepoint.

Rugged LTE Router for Distributed IoT Applications

The R920-C7B provides Cat 7 LTE connectivity with theoretical download speeds up to 300Mbps and upload speeds up to 150Mbps. Dual nano-SIM slots provide flexible carrier options, while 2x2 cellular MIMO supports reliable connectivity for remote IoT equipment.

Its compact IP64-rated enclosure, wide temperature tolerance and resistance to shock and vibration suit installations in warehouses, kiosks, cabinets, utility infrastructure and other demanding environments.

WiFi 6 and Dual Gigabit Ethernet

Concurrent 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi 6 supports local wireless devices, installation access and WiFi-as-WAN connectivity. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports can be configured for LAN or WAN use, enabling the R920 to connect controllers, cameras, sensors, gateways and other IP equipment.

Three-Year NetCloud Ruggedized IoT Essentials Plan

NetCloud Ruggedized IoT Essentials provides the cloud-management and core networking functionality needed to deploy and maintain distributed R920 routers.

Essentials includes:

Included AC Power Supply and Direct-Attach Antennas

The TCA3-0920-C7B-GM package includes:

• 2 x 600MHz–6GHz cellular paddle antennas with SMA connectors
• 2 x dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz WiFi paddle antennas with RP-SMA connectors
• International 12V AC power supply
• GPIO cable
• Mounting template

The supplied antennas attach directly to the router and are suitable for many fixed IoT installations. Remote or cabled antennas can be used when the R920 is installed inside a metal cabinet, in an area with weak signal or in a location where the antennas need to be positioned externally.

The R920 also provides an SMA connection for an optional active GNSS/GPS antenna and an RP-SMA connection for an optional Bluetooth antenna. GNSS and Bluetooth antennas are not listed among the included package accessories.
