Ubiquiti UCK-G2-SSD UniFi Cloud Key+ 1TB SSD, Full UniFi Application Suite Support

The Ubiquiti UCK-G2-SSD UniFi CloudKey+ is a compact, dedicated UniFi Console for centrally managing UniFi networks, security cameras, door access, communications and connected displays. Supplied with a pre-installed 1TB solid-state drive, the CloudKey+ delivers fast, reliable local application hosting and video storage without requiring a separate server or recurring cloud-hosting subscription.

Centralised UniFi network and application management

The UCK-G2-SSD runs the complete UniFi application suite, allowing administrators to manage multiple UniFi systems through one intuitive interface. Supported applications include:

• UniFi Network for access points, switches and compatible UniFi gateways
• UniFi Protect for security cameras and video recording
• UniFi Access for doors, readers and access-control hubs
• UniFi Talk for supported VoIP communications
• UniFi Connect for digital signage and connected displays

Remote management is available through the UniFi Site Manager, providing convenient access to the console and its applications from virtually anywhere.

Pre-installed 1TB SSD for UniFi Protect

Unlike the earlier hard-drive version of the CloudKey+, the UCK-G2-SSD includes a pre-installed 1TB 2.5-inch SATA solid-state drive. SSD storage provides quiet operation, low power consumption and improved resistance to vibration, making it well suited to offices, retail environments and communications cabinets.

The 2.5-inch storage drive is user-upgradeable, allowing storage capacity to be changed to suit the requirements of the UniFi Protect deployment.

UniFi Protect camera recording

The UniFi CloudKey+ can function as a compact UniFi Protect network video recorder, storing security footage locally on its integrated SSD. Its supported camera capacity depends on the resolution and workload of the connected cameras.

Indicative maximum camera capacities are:

• Up to 24 HD cameras
• Up to 14 2K cameras
• Up to 8 4K cameras

Actual capacity and retention time will vary according to camera model, resolution, frame rate, recording settings and selected storage capacity.

Manage up to 80 UniFi Access hubs

In addition to network and video management, the UCK-G2-SSD can manage up to 80 UniFi Access hubs. This makes it suitable for centrally administering door access across offices, schools, apartment buildings, warehouses and other multi-door facilities.

UniFi Access provides a unified environment for managing supported access hubs, readers, credentials, users, schedules and entry activity.

Flexible PoE or USB-C power

The Ubiquiti CloudKey+ can receive power directly through its Gigabit Ethernet connection using PoE, simplifying installation and reducing the number of required cables.

It can alternatively be powered through USB-C using a compatible Quick Charge 2.0 or Quick Charge 3.0 power adapter supplying 9V DC at 2A. The USB-C power adapter is optional and is not required when suitable PoE is available.

Compact anodised aluminium enclosure

Measuring only 131.2 × 27.1 × 134.2mm, the UCK-G2-SSD can be placed on a desk, shelf or inside a communications cabinet. Its anodised aluminium enclosure provides a professional finish while helping dissipate heat during continuous operation.

A 1.42-inch greyscale OLED display provides at-a-glance system information, while integrated Bluetooth enables quick initial discovery and setup using a compatible mobile device.

Dedicated UniFi Console without routing functionality

The UCK-G2-SSD is a UniFi application host and management console; it is not a router, firewall or internet gateway. It can manage compatible standalone UniFi gateways, switches, wireless access points and other UniFi devices while keeping application hosting separate from network-routing functions.

This makes the CloudKey+ a useful choice for existing UniFi installations, networks using a UXG-series gateway or deployments where dedicated management and local UniFi Protect storage are preferred.
