The Yealink WF50 is a dual-band USB Wi-Fi dongle (2.4GHz and 5GHz) compatible with select Yealink IP desk phones, requiring specific minimum firmware versions to function properly. It adds wireless network connectivity but does not support Bluetooth or non-Yealink devices

Compatible Phone Models

  • T4U Series: SIP-T42U, SIP-T43U, SIP-T44U, SIP-T46U, SIP-T48U (firmware version 84 / 108.86.0.70 or later)
  • T5 Series: SIP-T53, SIP-T52S, SIP-T54S (firmware version 84 / 96.86.0.70 or later)
  • T_S / T_G Series (Older generation support varies by exact version): SIP-T27G, SIP-T41S, SIP-T42S, SIP-T46S, SIP-T48S (typically requires firmware v84+)
  • Teams/Android Series: Select Microsoft Teams models like the MP52 and MP54

With wireless connections transitting over the 5GHz band, users no longer need to worry about the interference from nearby wireless devices which may interfere with their wireless signal, guaranteeing high-quality connections perfect for establishing calls and HD video streaming.
