Normal Cat.5 cable runs only reach 100 meters, but with a single POR-0100 installers can extend the PoE network much further.

Simple and durable, no software required

As a PoE Repeater, POR-0100 receives all power from the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), for example, a PoE switch. This means that POR-0100 uses no external power supply, making it the most flexible option for system integrators looking for an easy, affordable solution to increase the distance to the attached devices. POR-0100 has 2 RJ-45 ports for easy deployment, the “IN” port that accepts the power and data for the first 100 meters, and the “OUT” port that boosts and extends the power and data an additional 100 meters. With a compact, durable metal housing, the POR-0100 fits into a wide range of cable deployments.

Applications

POR-0100 works great for large IP surveillance networks with many cameras deployed throughout a building or campus. It is also an ideal solution for outdoor access points or wireless mesh that are located far from the control center.
